Two men have been stabbed and police are now on the hunt for their armed attacker.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a stabbing at James Ruse Dr, Clyde in Sydney’s west about 3.40am on Thursday.

Two men — aged 36 and 54 — were treated for minor injuries to their upper body before they were taken to Westmead Hospital in stable conditions.

Their attacker remains on the run, with police and the dog squad searching the surrounding area.

“A crime scene has been established as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident commenced,” NSW Police said.
