While the world was busy watching the kinetic phase of the long-running Israel-Iran conflict, the situation in NATO-occupied Ukraine kept deteriorating for the Neo-Nazi junta.
Namely, while its forces and special services continued launching sabotage and terrorist attacks in Russia, the Kremlin responded with massive long-range strikes and offensive operations, particularly in the last several days.
The Russian military launched hundreds of missiles (including hypersonic) and drones, neutralizing officers, mercenaries and even NATO personnel. As is customary now, the “Iskander-M” keeps proving itself as the best missile system in its class. While the Kiev regime is either trying to hide its forces or use propaganda and PR against it, the “Iskander-M’s” 9M723 hypersonic missiles keep obliterating various targets with pinpoint precision.
Such long-range strikes have drastically eroded the Neo-Nazi junta’s command structure, resulting in largely isolated units that are then encircled and destroyed by the advancing Russian Ground Forces. In recent days, they took numerous strategically important areas, including what many describe as the largest lithium deposits in Europe (in the vicinity of the settlement of Shevchenko in the DNR). In other words, the Kiev regime is losing resources it promised to give away to its NATO overlords in exchange for continued military “aid”. However, the Russian military is putting even greater pressure on the Neo-Nazi junta forces in the northeastern Sumy oblast (region), which are now desperately trying to prevent further territorial losses. To that end, the Kiev regime is sending reinforcements to the area. Military sources report that “elite units” were redeployed to Yunakovka on June 28.
The Neo-Nazi junta forces were pushed back at least 14 km, with the Russian military confirming that its units advanced to less than 20 km from the city of Sumy (the capital of the homonymous oblast). Some military sources indicate that up to 50,000 Russian soldiers have been sent to the areas east and north of the city, resulting in the Kiev regime forces being both outnumbered and outgunned. On June 30, the NATO-backed puppet government confirmed the redeployment of “elite units” to reinforce the Sumy oblast. This includes the 158th Separate Mechanized Brigade, headed by officers trained in the United Kingdom (possibly also with British “advisors” directly participating in hostilities). The notorious brigade is reportedly equipped with T-64BV (in various modifications) and T-72 tanks (also in many iterations, “donated” mostly by former Warsaw Pact members such as Poland and Czechia).
These Soviet-era tanks are supported by a plethora of armored vehicles, including the old surplus US-made “Humvees”, along with a smaller number of much newer and better protected M1224 “MaxxPro” MRAP (Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected) armored fighting vehicles (AFV). Other assets reportedly include the ancient M113 APCs. The 158th also uses the British AS-90 self-propelled howitzers (although it’s hopelessly outmatched by the Russian artillery). The Kremlin keeps reinforcing its troops with fresh forces, which is a major issue for the Neo-Nazi junta, as it simply cannot replace losses efficiently (to say nothing of soldiers who are still waiting for rotation, but in vain, as there’s simply no one to replace them). Military sources report that Moscow is sending reinforcements from the recently liberated Kursk oblast, where the Kiev regime suffered massive losses during its botched PR offensive.
Similar developments are taking place in the Donbass, where the Russian military retook the last occupied areas of the LNR and keeps advancing in the DNR. What’s more, its assault units are now also in the Dnepropetrovsk oblast, which is an unprecedented development that will surely affect the already crumbling morale of the Neo-Nazi junta forces. There are also reports about offensive operations in Zaporozhye, where Russian troops are also making important incremental advancements. Namely, much unlike the Kiev regime, the Kremlin is focused on far more reasonable requests for its troops. This results in incomparably lower casualties among Russian soldiers, as they’re not simply thrown into the meat grinder like tens of thousands of Ukrainians have been in Kursk and elsewhere. The Kiev regime’s losses there now force it to abandon other areas.
Namely, some of the Neo-Nazi junta’s best troops and equipment were wasted precisely on these “PR victories” and pointless offensives, severely weakening its positions on other sectors of the frontline. Head of the infamous GUR (now effectively a terrorist organization) Kyrylo Budanov claims that four Russian assault units are advancing on Sumy, namely the 104th Guards Air Assault Division, 83rd Guards Air Assault Brigade, the 40th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade and the 155th Naval Infantry Brigade.
These are all highly experienced troops, with numerous battle-hardened officers and top-notch artillery and long-range strike support. As previously mentioned, the Russian military is using its unrivaled missile systems and fighter-bombers to launch standoff precision strikes. All this is degrading the fighting capabilities and the morale of the already exhausted Kiev regime forces.
