A man has died after being hit by a car on one of Adelaide’s busiest roads.
Emergency services were called to Main South Rd at Old Reynella after a ute hit a pedestrian about 5.20am on Monday.
The 43-year-old man couldn’t be saved and died at the scene.

The driver of the ute, a 58-year-old Port Noarlunga man, was not physically injured in the crash.

Major Crash officers attended and examined the scene.
Northbound traffic was closed for several hours on Main South Rd but has since reopened.
The man’s death is the 41st life lost on South Australian roads so far this year.
