When Global Research was born in September 2001, we were convinced that “Freedom of Expression” and “The Battle of Ideas” would contribute to reversing the tide of war, while also restoring the foundations of social democracy.

Our hope and belief was that “the Big Lie” would one day be crushed by the undeniable weight of the Truth.

We still hold on to this hope.

Today more than ever, independent media is under attack. Global Research is particularly excluded from search engines, shadow-banned on Instagram and X, and removed from Facebook and Youtube. Despite the wide variety of topics covered on our site by experts and academics from the world over, there is a relentless campaign against us.

File formal appeals and complaints with the abovementioned platforms (remember: there is power in numbers),
Follow us directly on our social media accounts (Instagram, Telegram, X) instead of relying on random feeds,
Subscribe to our newsletter (send an email to [email protected]), and
Share GR content using direct links from our website, not just social media platform reposts.
