Le président iranien, Massoud Pezeshkian, a accusé Israël d'avoir tenté de l'assassiner, sans toutefois préciser à quel moment, dans un entretien accordé à l'animateur américain Tucker Carlson diffusé lundi.

"Ils ont essayé oui. Ils ont agi en conséquence mais ils ont échoué", a affirmé M. Pezeshkian. "J'étais à une réunion (...), ils ont tenté de bombarder la zone où nous tenions cette réunion", a ajouté le président iranien, assurant que "c'était Israël", selon une traduction de ses propos par un interprète.
