A suspected gas leak has prompted an evacuation at Brisbane’s Wesley Hospital, with emergency crews on scene.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said seven vehicles rushed to the scene after the incident was reported at about 8.15am an Tuesday.

Scientific crews are also at the Auchenflower hospital, as the evacuation continues.

QFES said crews were managing the incident.

It is not yet known what type of gas is involved, how many people have been evacuated or whether anyone has been injured.
