These movements with transport aircraft seem like escalatory moves. Like Larry says, aircraft carriers and more bomber deployments in the area would be more definitive OSINT, Open Source Intelligence, and indicate more escalatory risk. And in the end, everybody could trip and stumble over into nuclear war, as Larry and Danny indicate and well know, in their videos.

I have been searching the scripture for anything on the topic of escalation and deterrence that resembles nuclear risk escalation and escalation to nuclear war because of this teaching that all scripture is inspired of God.

I’ve been looking at this scripture, Pro 26:4-5, for a long time, as hard nut to crack and interpret. 

And I didn’t see it as related to escalation and deterrence, but now I do.

[Pro 26:4-5 KJV] 4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. 5 Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

First, there’s the motives. 

We don’t want to be like the fools that provoke and tempt us towards nuclear war. 

Also, second, escalation, or a non-escalatory answer, can be like a teaching moment but it’s also clear from many other proverbs that such fools are often repeat offenders in their folly and they may seem to themselves that they are wise in their own eyes, which is conceit, so there is no guarantee of any moment of clarity.

So escalation or even reciprocation, simple tit for tat,  always bears risk. A fool is not deterred if he doesn’t see the risk or danger.

What fooled me was the idea of answering a fool. We are all fools around climate change for instance, as we are around nuclear war, but the revenue neutral fee on pollution, or  carbon tax, or value added tax, is called a price signal. It’s a financial message, like nuclear escalation is a military message. 
i.e. We threaten Russia’s nuclear triad through our NATO ISR led Ukrainian proxy, and threaten their leadership, and test tempt and try them in every way possible, looking for a foolish response and escalation, and they upgrade their technology, science, research and their nuclear deterrent. We look like idiots, and we are, and we should know, but the folly of our leadership is so deeply ingrained around science and wisdom, being bankers and real estate brokers, what we see is what we get. It’s not progressive, and if it is, it’s progressive towards thermonuclear destruction of the world and the human race, or at least a tremendous setback to human science and culture.

So the signal, or the “answer”, may be reciprocal, and reciprocity, but it doesn’t have to lead to utter criticality, like nuclear war. 

But it might. 

Sometimes ignorance, disappearance or silence is the best answer, but that’s also a judgment call, or an answer.

The entirety of Proverbs 26 is under the title of “Similitudes, Instructions”, in the BLB. Although I generally ignore such things as non scriptural add-ons, it now appears as scriptural analysis of the highest order.

Everything in Proverbs 26 bears similitudes and instructions about the process of nuclear risk and escalation that we are now going through. Larry loves similitudes and he often makes his own. But the similitude of nuclear war is where there’s nobody left to make nuclear war and nobody left with time to hear the similitudes. 

Yes, there’s the folly, lies, deceits, parables, pitfalls, thorns, messages, dissembling, pitfalls, stones, hypocrisies and “perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness”.  (1Tim 6:5) Sometimes we have to withdraw ourselves.

Sometimes it is necessary to be lonely in order to prove that you are right.

So the primary aims of any forced engagements with the folly of our adversaries is:

• Not to become like them.
• Not to let them become wise in their own eyes, or conceited

But even the fools (biblically defined, not pejoratively defined) will say that they would never want to be like us and that we are wise in our own eyes, and conceited. So each side has to engage, and prove it, which is wise, and the bottom line of deescalation, namely to talk.
