A SCOTS school support worker who branded pupils as young as 12, ‘sluts’ and ‘stupid fat wh*res’ on Snapchat has been struck off.

Gillian Sorbie was working at a primary school in Fife when she sent a string of shocking messages to one pupil whilst setting up meetings to sell vapes to another.

In one message on the social media app, Sorbie, 41, told one 12-year-old girl: “Just you wait till tomorrow stupid fat wh**e”

Before threatening: “F*** you, you’re gonna hurt when I see you tomorrow.

“I need to go out (sic) my daughter to bed. Try not to kill yourself while I’m gone”

All of the messages were sent over two days between March 2 and March 9, 2023 and were horrifying in content, calling the child “Sl*gbag” and asking her: “You dead yet?”.

Other shocking messages read: “Go suck a f***” and “Well that’s what wh***s do so anytime you feel like it…”

Before telling the schoolgirl “Go to hell.

“Oh go ahead but I’ll stay alive just to p*** you off”

The vile messages were laid bare in a hearing by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

The panel also heard Sorbie contacted another child, also aged 12, to sell vapes to her between September and October 2023.

Sorbie wrote: “What to do is all of you give all the money to one person then that person can jump in my car and I’ll hand over all of the vapes and they can dish them out after I’ve gone.

“Don’t want to be seen selling you vapes in public so gotta be subtle yk xx”

Sorbie warned the child to “keep quiet” saying: “How many. Got to be kept quiet tho I can’t have folk knowing I’m selling vapes to 11 year olds lol”, before adding: ” Lol no worries, I trust you gals not to rat me out xx’”

The panel was told Sorbie was convicted of selling vapes to kids at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court in September last year after she messaged the same child a picture of vapes saying: ” ‘Vapes £13 each or two for £20. 4000 puffs each. Amazing value. DM me if you want any”.

The SSSC said Sorbie had shown no regret or remorse for her actions and had tried to cover up her crime by deleting messages, adding: “You provided two former pupils of the primary school where you worked with your contact details and then repeatedly contacted them both on a social media messaging application.

“This was further aggravated by the abusive and inappropriate content of the messages.

“You offered to sell nicotine vape devices to a child. “You offered to sell nicotine vape devices to a child.

“This is an abuse of the trust placed in you by your employer and the parents of the children you were entrusted to care for.
