LiDAX Ultra AWD robotic lawn mowers

Robotic lawn mowers are having a bit of a moment right now with quite a few brands breaking onto the scene this year.

What I like about the LiDAX Ultra AWD series is the manouverability with the 360 degree LiDAR and all wheel drive, it was really impressive to see the demo unit climb a 38 degree slope with genuine ease.

MOVA have a range of mowers for every yard size, the flagship of the range being the LiDAX Ultra 2000 AWD.

It has dual-blades that can cut within 3cm of edges at a height between 3cm to 10cm.

No two backyards are the same and in Australia particularly we can have some pretty wild stuff going on.

MOVA have aimed this mower straight at the Aussie market and I seriously think it’ll be one to watch.

V70 and Z70 Robot vacuums

Robot vacuums have gone from being a niche piece of high-end tech to something that is in more and more Aussie homes.

MOVA are pushing the limits with what these robots can do by solving two major problems.

The first is reach.

Over the last two years we’ve seen brands slowly sneak the mopping pads and brushes out a little bit to get into tight spaces.

The second problem MOVA solves is the transition between hard floor and carpets, mopping and vacuuming.

The challenge is traversing the carpet without dragging a damp mop across it.

The Z70 Ultra Roller has a clever little cover that shields the roller as the robot goes across the carpet, and retracts ready to keep mopping. A very cool robot for those with multiple floor types.

Rover X10 Pool Cleaner

Ask anyone with a pool what it’s like having a pool and inevitably they say something along the lines of “it’s great, but it’s a lot of work”. Enter the robots.

The Rover X10 has a crazy level of power, pulling 38,000 litres per hour through the two stage filter system.

The first layer of filters picks up most debris and the fine filter sorts out the finer silt and dust.

The real super power of the X10 is how well it navigates the pool.

It has a thing that MOVA calls FloatDrive which works like an underwater drone to lift itself up to gracefully ascend and clean stairs and landings.
