What started as a bizarre internet meme, now gets a serious Hollywood film. Skibidi Toiletthe absurd YouTube phenomenon with singing toilets, will soon be edited into a film. None other than Blockbuster director Michael Bay is involved in the project.

From YouTube to Hollywood

The concept was quickly extended to a full web series with its own logic and characters. In the meantime, the channel has more than seventy episodes of one to five minutes each. Paramount Pictures CEO Adam Goodman and director Michael Bay attracted two toppers from the film world. It is about the production designer Jeffrey Beecroftt (nominated for an Oscar (Transformers) and the VFX supervisor Rob Legato (awarded for an Oscar (Titanic, Avatar).
