Reality TV star and influencer Martha Kalifatidis has faced harsh criticism for a video where some followers say she “screams” at her three-year-old son.

The 37-year-old recently welcomed her second child, Sunday, with fiancé Michael Brunelli — the couple met on reality dating show Married At First Sight.

Kalifatidis has openly documented the challenges of caring for a newborn and their son Lucius, affectionately called Looch.

Over the weekend, Kalifatidis posted a TikTok of herself holding the baby in a carrier while trying to make breakfast for her son.

“Stop screaming in her face!” Kalifatidis tells her son in a firm voice.

She then tells him to get off the stool and leave the kitchen, before admitting even “simple tasks” like making breakfast can take more than two hours when she’s juggling the kids.

“I’m a psycho! I know I need to be more patient, how does anyone get anything done (with kids)!?” Kalifatidis captioned the post.

The TikTok has been viewed over 600,000 times and most followers encouraged the mum-of-two to keep her head up, reminding her it was normal to feel overstimulated and overwhelmed as a parent.

However, some criticised Kalifatidis’ parenting, in particular her “screaming” at her son.

“’Stop screaming in her face’ ... goes and screams in his face,” one TikTok user commented.

“This is so sad. Looch used to be your everything! You idolised the ground he walked on. Now you are completely disassociated from him like he’s the enemy or something. This broke my heart! Are you ok Martha?” another asked.

“I usually don’t comment on things but this absolutely broke my heart, I could NEVER yell at my son who’s a toddler for trying to interact with his little sister,” one person commented.

Some even cruelly told Kalifatidis to cut her son’s hair.

While Kalifatidis has not directly addressed the backlash, she later posted another TikTok showing her and Looch sitting on a park bench.

“All that matters,” Kalifatidis said.

She also posted another video with Brunelli joking about all the “perfect parents”.

“If it isn’t all the perfect parents scrolling and watching and judging,” she says in the video.

In May, Kalifatidis clapped back after being told it was “about time” she moved out of her parent’s house.

The family of four live with her parents in Melbourne.

Kalifatidis, who founded children’s wear brand Cubby Haus, defended their living arrangement in a lengthy Instagram Story after receiving the comment from a fan.

“Look, I know our living arrangement might not make sense to everyone,” Kalifatidis said.

“But it works really well for us.”

She said the decision to stay couldn’t be better for them, now with a newborn and toddler, which she described as a “fragile” time in her life.

“Having the extra help from my parents while I’m still in this fragile postpartum period is everything!” Kalifatidis said.

“We have support, the kids are surrounded by love and we all actually get along (surprise!).

“If this wasn’t the case we probably wouldn’t be here!”
