Police searching for a little girl who has now been missing for more than three days have pleaded for the child to let them know she is safe.

Lyndel Ningella, 10, was last seen in Butler, a suburb of Perth’s north, about 5.45pm on Saturday.

It is believed she may have travelled as far as 80km to Kwinana, Leda, Parmelia or Wellard, in the city’s south.

Acting Superintendent Darren Hart said she may be staying with relatives and issued an appeal directly to the girl.

“We would like anyone with information on where she may be to give us a call,” Hart said.

“Lyndel, if you see this, if you can just ring us and let us know that you’re safe that would be very helpful.”

Police revealed on Monday they held concerns for girl’s welfare.

Hart added on Tuesday that there is “concern for her safety in that she’s a 10-year-old girl who is making her own way in the world”.

Lyndel is 160cm tall with a medium build, long brown hair with blonde tips, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black jumper and black shorts.
