Home security footage has captured the shocking moment two children were almost hit by two cars before they sped away in Queensland.

A dark car can be seen speeding around a corner into the street, narrowly missing one of the children.
A white SUV follows closely behind, making the same turn at speed. It clips one of the children’s bikes as it mounts the kerb, then continues driving between them before damaging a fence as it speeds away.
Concerned neighbours then rush to the scene to assess the damage and check on the children.
The white car can be seen driving past the group once more.
In a Facebook post, one neighbour shared the shocking footage and said police are investigating the incident.

“The footage from the three different home cameras capturing all this and the details of your vehicle have been given to them.
“We all felt the front end of your car hanging off is not enough punishment for nearly killing a child and running off like a scared little b****!”
Comments flooded the post as community members expressed their anger at the incident, with offers of support from local businesses willing to help replace the damaged fence.
“This is absolutely terrifying! Those kids must have been so scared. So lucky no one was killed,” one local resident said.
“Hope the little boy is OK and will fully recover soon. Find and charge the culprit!” said another.
Police confirmed an investigation is underway and called the incident “troubling”.
They also encouraged anyone with vision or information to contact Crime Stoppers.
