Some of Australia’s biggest names in television and entertainment come together this Friday, April 3, for the 95th annual Good Friday Appeal on Seven and 7plus, raising vital funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and Victorian regional health services.

WATCH THE GOOD FRIDAY APPEAL LIVE ON 7PLUS

Celebrating its 69th year on Seven, Good Friday Appeal 2026 sees host Larry Emdur alongside Johanna Griggs and 7NEWS Melbourne’s Peter Mitchell, Rebecca Maddern, Jane Bunn, Mike Amor, Karina Carvalho and Tyra Stowers, joined by a galaxy of stars from Sunrise, The Morning Show, Home and Away, The Voice Australia, The Chase Australia, Better Homes and Gardens, 7NEWS, 7SPORT and 101.9 The Fox, plus some of the country’s most-loved musicians, athletes and comedians for the iconic telecast.

The day kicks off with an extended edition of Sunrise, with weather man Sam Mac live from The Royal Children’s Hospital, ahead of the Good Friday Appeal from 10am on Seven in Melbourne and streaming live nationally on 7plus.

For the first time in six years, Seven’s Good Friday Appeal broadcast will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, hosting both the daytime and primetime telecasts as the network shines a spotlight on one of Australia’s most iconic charity events. Families attending Kids Day Out can watch the live broadcast in the foyer before visiting the Seven Fan Zone to meet their favourite Seven stars and have a photo.

Good Friday AFL SuperClash returns

The annual Good Friday AFL SuperClash returns from 3pm on Seven and 7plus as North Melbourne takes on Carlton at Marvel Stadium, with football’s #1 commentary team calling all the action live and free. This year also marks the launch of the inaugural SuperClash Virtual Guard of Honour, giving fans the opportunity to submit tributes to someone who has supported them or has been cared for by The Royal Children’s Hospital. At halftime, a new mascot race will debut, with club and sponsor mascots competing on the field, and a generous donation to the Good Friday Appeal awarded by the winning mascot.

Following 7NEWS at 6.pm, the Good Friday Appeal returns at 7pm with host of The Chase Australia and co-host of The Morning Show Larry Emdur and Better Homes and Gardens’ Johanna Griggs hosting a jam-packed evening show, featuring celebrity panels, a huge line-up of entertainment, and all the action from the phone room as donations build.

Galaxy of stars

Special guests throughout Seven’s telecast of the Good Friday Appeal include Sunrise stars Natalie Barr, Matt Shirvington and Katie Brown; The Morning Show’s Kylie Gillies and Karen Ledbury; 7SPORT favourites Hamish McLachlan, Abbey Holmes, Dale “Daisy” Thomas, Matthew Richardson and Jason Richardson; My Reno Rules host Dr Chris Brown; Home and Away’s Emily Weir and Kyle Shilling; Matt Parkinson aka Goliath, Brydon Coverdale aka The Shark and David Poltorak aka The Professor from The Chase Australia; The House of Wellness co-host Shane Crawford; Better Homes and Gardens’ host Johanna Griggs with DIY expert Adam Dovile and gardening guru Melissa King; and 101.9 The Fox’s Fifi Box, Brendan “Fev” Fevola and Nick Cody.

SCA’s The Fox and 105.1 Triple M Melbourne will support the Good Friday Appeal throughout the day with dedicated programming, helping to amplify the incredible work of The Royal Children’s Hospital. The Fox will celebrate hospital staff on-air, inviting them to pick their favourite songs for the R&B Friday’s Feel-Good Playlist. Fifi, Fev & Nick will also visit the hospital, joining the phone room while Brendan “Fev” Fevola will feature in Seven’s evening telecast. Triple M Melbourne will keep listeners up to date with current, local tally updates, with “Dangerous Dave” Williams broadcasting live and crossing to the telecast throughout the day.

The night show will feature performances by global superstar and coach on The Voice Australia, Ronan Keating; much-loved Australian entertainer, Rob Mills; Cirque du Soleil, performing an act from their highly anticipated show Kooza; Australian illusionist and escapist Cosentino; and comedy trio Sooshi Mango. Plus, beatboxer and musician Tom Thum, WILSN and Michael Paynter performing songs from the upcoming musical, Whispering Jack: The John Farnham, will round out the sensational lineup.

Last year, the Good Friday Appeal raised a record $23,822,792 for The Royal Children’s Hospital, with the money funding ground-breaking research, state-of-the-art equipment and technology, education and family-centred care programs.
