Controversial social media influencer and radical misogynist Andrew Tate has been beaten to a pulp in his maiden professional boxing bout.

The 39-year-old was left battered and bleeding by reality TV star Chase DeMoor after the pair headlined Sunday morning’s Misfits Mania event in Dubai.

Tate, who earlier this year was charged with several counts of rape alongside his brother Tristan before the allegations were dropped, had not fought in the ring for five years after a distinguished kicking boxing career.

The move to allow Tate to fight caused controversy, but the influencer talked a good game, promising to put his opponent to sleep.

However, he was left with extensive bruising around both eyes and a nasty cut as DeMoor retained his Misfits heavyweight title.

DeMoor, 10 years Tate’s junior, kept the 39-year-old at bay with his reach advantage in a bout that displayed few signs of Boxing prowess on either’s behalf.

The fight was scored 58-56 on two score cards, while the third judge ruled it a draw.

Post loss, Tate said he was not disappointed to lose against a younger, heavier opponent and said he’d wanted a “real challenge”.

“It was always gonna be a tough ask against someone much bigger than me, younger than me, more active than me— I felt I won the first two rounds but because he’s 20 kilo heavier he started leaning on me,” he said.

The fight was announced in late October, following news that KSI had been ousted from his role as CEO of Misfits Boxing, with Tate declaring himself the new Chief Executive of the company.
