A driver has pleaded guilty to killing a grandmother when he slammed a car into a home while he was drunk and high on drugs.
Rhyse Robert Hawkins, 36, lost control of the Ford Falcon and crashed into the rental on Alexander Rd in Rivervale, in Perth’s eastern suburbs, in February.

Bishnu Kumari Gurung, on holiday from Nepal, was killed as she slept inside.
The 53-year-old had only been in WA for a few days.
Hawkins was arrested at the scene and appeared in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court via video link from Casuarina on Wednesday, pleading guilty to four charges including unlawful killing.
Hawkins will be sentenced in September.
