Special Notice: We are sending the Remembrance Day message early this year to give you an opportunity to plan your attendance at a Remembrance Day Ceremony with your friends and family. Find a memorial in your community HERE.
The Importance of Prayer: For many who faced the horrors of war, prayer was a lifeline. Chaplains brought comfort to the frightened, prayed beside the wounded, and entrusted the dying to God.
Our government should be protecting our sacred traditions, yet instead, its military policy now requires chaplains to replace prayer with reflections that exclude references to God at official ceremonies covered by the policy—including military Remembrance Day commemorations. This decision was made to accommodate foreigners in our military who do not embrace our Christian inheritance.
This is outrageous and cannot stand!
In response, we need to PRAY LOUDER and more fervently than ever before for our country which was founded upon Judeo-Christian Biblical principles.
Let prayer rise from our homes, our churches, and our communities across Canada.
“The price of freedom is high, but never more costly than the loss of freedom.”
—Ronald Reagan
We honour Canada’s fallen, our veterans, and those who serve today. Behind every name carved in stone is a life once filled with hopes, a family forever changed, and a sacrifice we must never forget. We remember those who never came home—and those who returned carrying wounds no one could see.
Pray for our veterans and their families, for those grieving an empty place at the table, and for the men and women serving far from home. Pray for our chaplains. Pray that our leaders will turn to God for wisdom, humility, and the courage to do what is right.
As we observe two minutes of silence, let our hearts speak:
Heavenly Father, thank You for those who gave so much. Comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who serve, and awaken in us the faith and courage to protect the freedoms entrusted to our care. Turn our nation’s heart toward You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
This November 11, gather with family and friends at a local ceremony or visit a memorial in your community. Teach your children the stories behind the names. Wear your poppy with gratitude.
Lest We Forget.
