A British musician and YouTuber allegedly bit and slapped a fan while violently sexually assaulting her in his hotel room, an Australian court has been told.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, gave evidence in Perth’s District Court on Monday, saying rapper Yung Filly had been an idol before he allegedly violated her in September 2024.

The 30-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, says he is innocent.

He has pleaded not guilty to 10 charges including sexual penetration without consent, and assault occasioning bodily harm, and denies he impeded the woman’s normal breathing by applying pressure to her neck.

The 20-year-old complainant, the first to give evidence in the trial, had been a huge fan of the performer, recording a video shortly before his gig at Bar1 in Hillarys saying she wanted him to be her future husband.

Prosecutors say she could not believe her luck when she was invited into the VIP lounge, and Yung Filly approached her.

The court was told the rapper gave her free drinks and told the fan “you’re coming home with me”, before allegedly putting his hands down her pants.

The woman testified that she told him “I am not like that”, and the court was told he replied that “it really shows your age”.

She was invited back to what she thought was an after-party at the Intercontinental Hotel in the city about 3am, and one of his bodyguards took her phone.

Barrientos and the woman then engaged in consensual sex in the performer’s room.

But the prosecution says the rapper became violent, alleging he bit her neck and breast, restricted her breathing, told her to stop talking and slapping her without warning, leaving her with bruising and an open wound.

The court was told she asked him to stop, but he continued to violate her. Prosecutors say she tried to disassociate until it stopped.

The state says Yung Filly then ordered room service, and then called his bodyguard into the room, saying she is leaving.

As she was preparing to leave, the woman said she heard the accused say she “wasn’t good in bed”.

A report to police was made the next day.
