A pilot has been freed after becoming trapped when a light plane crashed in the NSW Southern Highlands.
Emergency services were called to Medway Rd in Berrima about 7.45am on Thursday following reports a Hornet STOL recreational aircraft had crashed into a paddock.
A 58-year-old man, the sole occupant of the plane, was trapped in the wreckage for “some time” before being freed, police said.
