Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale recently confirmed his separation from wife Jules Neale and stepped down from his role as co-captain, with the former couple now quietly listing their luxury Brisbane family home amid one of the city's strongest selling periods in years.

With Neale off-contract at the end of the 2026 season, speculation is again swirling about a potential move back to Western Australia, adding further intrigue to the sale of the near-new Hamptons-style residence in Seven Hills.

Neighbours were recently spotted photographing listing signs outside the home as early buyer enquiry builds, signalling strong interest even before the campaign formally launches. The property has yet to be listed online suggesting an 'off market' sale which is often favoured by celebrities.

Built in 2021 during the pandemic construction boom, the five-bedroom home is expected to fetch close to, or potentially above, $3 million.

The property is being marketed by McGrath Estate Agents' Tony O'Doherty and Sam McLeod, with the timing considered ideal as Brisbane enters one of its busiest windows of the year for family home sales.

The Neale's purchased the Seven Hills property in July 2022 for $2.43 million.

Just three years later, Cotality's automated valuation model places the home at $2.925 million, with upper price estimates stretching as high as $3.244 million, reflecting strong demand for turnkey homes close to the CBD.

A sale north of $3 million would represent an uplift of more than $600,000 in a short period, underscoring the rapid acceleration of Brisbane's prestige housing market since 2022.

Located just 5km from the Gabba, the home features 2.7-metre-high ceilings, wainscoting, louvred windows and expansive open-plan living and dining zones. The kitchen is anchored by a farmhouse-style sink, while outdoor living includes a glass-framed in-ground swimming pool.

The property has previously appeared on social media via posts shared by Jules Neale on Instagram.

Seven Hills has emerged as one of Brisbane's standout inner suburbs, recording double-digit growth over recent years.

Median house prices have risen 17.5 per cent in the past three years to $1.828 million and are now more than 80 per cent higher than five years ago.

The suburb sits within the catchment of Seven Hills State School and is close to several sought-after private schools, including San Sisto College and Saint Martin's Catholic Primary School.

Neale's property journey mirrors his rise in Brisbane. After being lured north from Fremantle at the end of the 2018 AFL season, he purchased a home in Coorparoo for $1.77 million.

Four years later, he sold the property for $2.6 million, banking close to a million-dollar profit before reinvesting in Seven Hills.

With heightened public interest surrounding the sale, agents expect strong inspection numbers and competitive buyer interest as the campaign unfolds.
