Velocity’s latest Bonus Transfer campaign caught my attention, because it’s a chance for eligible members to earn bonus points when transferring bank reward points to Velocity.

With changes to the RBA expected from October 1, Velocity’s bonus transfer campaign is giving members a chance to maximise the value of their bank reward points before changes flow through the market.

So, this could be a good time to unlock more value from your bank points by transferring them and receiving a bonus at the same time.

There’s a current manual transfer offer, which gives Aussies the chance to snap up 15 per cent bonus Velocity Points for making manual transfers at least once a month from participating partners.

Or, for Auto Transfers with banks like ANZ, MyCard, NAB and BOQ when opting in and staying enrolled until 30 September, you could receive 20 per cent bonus Velocity Points for eligible sign-ups.

Not every bank is participating in the Bonus Transfer campaign, but it’s still worth checking to see what your own rewards program currently offers.

With October 1 around the corner, August and September could be an interesting time to check your bank points balance to see if it’s worth transferring.
