Below, from running essentials to my new favourite dry skin saviour, I reveal everything I’ve added to cart this August.

As a dedicated (but artificially) blonde girl, I am always on the lookout for products that will nourish and help my blonde hair to look less dry and dyed.

Enter this Colour Protecting duo from EVO ($94; Adore Beauty), which promises to thoroughly cleanse the scalp and hair while helping preserve your shade, so it stays brighter and richer between salon visits.

It removes impurities without disrupting the hair’s moisture balance, helping maintain softness and shine.

Being somewhat lazy (I only wash my hair twice a week), I like products that really foam and give my hair a clean feeling.

But I also don’t like it when my hair looks really dried out and dead as soon as I’ve blow dried it.

This pair are the answer for my colour-treated locks.

The conditioner gives the ideal amount of moisture to my hair, and when used together for a period of time as I have done, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the overall look and feel of my hair.

I’ll definitely be buying this again when I’ve finished it, and I’m recommending it to all my coloured-treated hair friends.

* Augustinus Bader Body Essentials, $328: First up, I know this is an insane amount to be paying for a body moisturiser. But once you’ve used it once, you’ll understand why it is worth all the hype. Rich without being greasy, nourishing without leaving behind a sticky film, I’ve now been using this moisturiser for about a week and all of the dry, wrinkled skin around my elbows and knees has practically gone. Not only this, but my skin feels smoother to the touch than it has done in months (maybe even years?) I never thought a body moisturiser could do much until I tried this one. I was wrong.

* Aesop Antithesis Body Cleanser, $53: It’s all about the bodycare this month. With spring on the horizon and the prospect of getting our winter legs out again, I’ve been invested in a series of hard-working body products that will get me ready for the warmer weather. This Body Cleanser ($53) offers a bracing sensory experience through the juxtaposition of warm Black Pepper, cool Coriander Seed, and herbaceous Patchouli. It’s divine.

* Mecca Dermal Dose Brightening Serum with 15% Vitamin C, $70: Last but not least, I’ve been testing this Vitamin C serum for the past month, and I’ve been highly impressed. It’s rare for me to find a Vitamin C serum that doesn’t leave my skin irritated or red, but this one has a clever balance of 12% water-soluble Vitamin C to deliver immediate brightness and clarity, and 3% oil-soluble Vitamin C to target the appearance of pigmentation and discolouration.

2. Sleep Ins Oat and White Stripe Sheets, $200

When these sheets first popped up on my Instagram page as the most comfortable someone had ever tried, I just knew I wanted in.

There’s something about new, fresh sheets that signifies a new season, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them.

Opting for the neutrally-toned Oat and White Stripe Set (from $200), I put these on my bed and took an abnormally early night to give them a decent run.

Boy, did they deliver.

Made from 100 per cent Bamboo Viscose for a soft, weightless texture, these sheets feel breathable, hypoallergenic, and naturally antibacterial — perfect for sensitive skin.

They are almost unnaturally soft and silky to the touch, perfect for lounging in and sleeping in.

They also look fantastic on the bed whether they are ironed or not, making them a super option for those who are a little lazy.

Overall, I’d highly recommend these sheets to people looking for a breezy, comfortable, second-skin like feel with their bedding.

I’ve had them on wash and repeat since investing.

Other kids and home buys I’ve been loving...

* Maison Elle Sleepy Elle, $108: It’s my youngest daughter’s birthday this month, which means I’ve been on the hunt for an adorable soft toy that she can keep forever. Maison Elle Sleepy Elle perfectly ticks this box. A certified organic cotton baby comforter designed to become a familiar companion through bedtime naps pram rides and travel, I love how the adorable comforter comes in its own little keep-forever box.

* Big W Opennook Claywave Vase, $14: Big W have been absolutely killing it from a homewares perspective for a while now, and this vase is no exception. Looking like it should retail for at least three times the price, this fun ceramic piece is the perfect conversation starter in a living room whether empty or filled with flowers.

* Barbecue: Smoked & Grilled Recipes from Across The Globe, $69.95: I wanted to get my husband something from the kids that he would actually like this Father’s Day, when I stumbled upon this Phaidon title about barbecuing. The ultimate guide to cooking with fire and smoke, featuring 280 beloved barbecue and grilling recipes from cultures across the globe, this feels like a true investment for him — and for our whole family. With the days starting to get longer, I’m already getting excited for a few more barbecues.

3. Tanora SEO Bucket Bag, $390

With the prospect of summer drawing tantalisingly closer, I picked up this bucket bag by the independent design label founded in 2016, Tanora.

With raffia pom poms and a classic tea dyed crochet body, it’s a mini bucket bag with a little twist and the perfect way to jazz up a summer outfit.

I love the fact that it has natural bamboo handles and an artisanal feel, while still being something you could easily wear everyday.

Tanora has been catching my eye for a few months now, thanks to its clean, beach-inspired contemporary Australian aesthetic combined with the ancestral raffia craftsmanship of Madagascar.

* Kachel dress, $299: The Emma Mini Dress by Kachel is made for sunny days, last-minute plans and everything in between, and I can’t get enough of it. With a floaty, flared shape, softly puffed short sleeves and a button-through front, it gives an effortless, thrown-on feel, but can also be dressed up if worn with a pair of high heels.

* PE Nation Radar Bike Short in Strawberry & Soft Pink, $75: P.E. Nation are known for their bright activewear. And this season, in honour of the brand’s 10th birthday, it’s no exception. I particularly love these strawberry-coloured bike shorts, which look awesome when paired with either a white T-shirt or matching activewear. Perfect spring dopamine dressing.

* Uniqlo Red Cashmere Jumper, $129.90: Cashmere, for under $130? You’re going to want to run, not walk. I’ve had my eye on Uniqlo’s sellout cashmere for some time now, and finally took the plunge and bought the red sweatshirt this month. Since then, I’ve barely taken it off. Soft, warm, well-fitted and in one of my favourite colours of the moment, this is a great quality jumper, period. When you take into account the price, it’s not worth even thinking about. Buy your own.

4. Therabody Theragun Prime G6, $479

With the TCS Sydney Marathon taking place this weekend (gulp), there is one item that has been at the top of my most-used list since I got it earlier this month: the Therabody Theragun Prime G6 ($479).

A deep tissue massage gun that uses percussive therapy to relieve discomfort, increase flexibility and speed up recovery, the gun has been specially made for for athletes and gym-goers who want to power their warm-up and recovery so they can push harder through tough workouts and training days.

I use it three or four nights a week, whenever my muscles feel tight, tired or niggly after a long training session — and I’ve found it fantastic at ensuring I feel ready to go again the next day.

I love that it hsows you how to massage and look over each body part, and it’s lightweight enough that you can hold it and use it without getting tired.

Other health and fitness buys I’ve been loving this month...

* Hydralyte Electrolytes, $6.90: Electrolytes have practically become part of my personality at this stage, and with the weather warming up, if you’re planning on continuing to run, this is only going to intensify. Recently, I’ve been reaching for some by Hydralyte, who have an impressive range of flavours to ensure you’re never bored.

* Harbour Heat Experience, Q Station, from $30: Marathon training is as much about the running as it is the recovery. My favourite way to recover? A sauna. If you’re similar, it’s a great idea to check out Harbour Heat in Sydney’s North Head, which promises a 50-minute harbourside wood-fired sauna with sweeping views across Sydney Harbour and Manly Cove. This does get booked up, so you’ll need to move quickly if keen.

* Nort Stout, $18: Looking for a non-alcoholic tipple while in racing season? Look no futher than Nort’s Non-Alcoholic Stout. NORT Stout is Australia’s first bottled non-alcoholic stout, and it’s a rich, full-flavoured drop, arriving at a moment when both categories it sits at the intersection of are booming. According to Endeavour Group’s State of the Hops Report 2026, stout is now the fastest-growing beer style in the country, while non-alcoholic beer just notched its 11th consecutive year of growth. NORT Stout lands right where those two trends meet. This is a delicious alternative, and also a perfect Father’s Day gift. Cheers!
