A Sydney family has escaped injury after fire bombs were thrown at their home during a late‑night attack in the city’s southwest.
Emergency services were called to Gallipoli St in Condell Park just after 10.30pm on Saturday, following reports that glass bottles filled with a flammable liquid — believed to be petrol — had been hurled at the property.
Two bottles smashed against a window but failed to ignite. A third device, found inside a bag at the front of the home, has been seized for forensic testing.
