Hundreds of anti-war activists gather in the Israeli southern city of Sderot to march towards the Gaza border, calling to end the war.
“We want to stop this horrible war,” says Itamar Avneri, one of the organisers of the event.
“We demand our government to achieve a hostage deal and a ceasefire, in order to save lives, Israeli lives and Palestinian lives, end this horrible war and destruction of Gaza, and starting to advance toward real Palestinian-Israeli peace.”
Police stop protesters from marching towards the border, resulting in clashes and several arrests.
